America You're Beautiful / A 9/11 Tribute

America You're Beautiful is a tribute to the victims of September 11th, 2001. It is also a tribute to the survivors. Regardless of political views America is a beautiful place from the land to the people who dwell here.

Artist Bio: Jordan Blake Michiels is an independent singer/songwriter and recording artist who grew up the son of a minister and school teacher. He started singing at age 8 and started writing around 11 years old. At first poems and then by 17 songs, the songs "Chains Of Love" , "You Are A Fine Lady" & "Love Numbers" were written at the age of 18. Jordan has continued to write many Country, Blues, R&B, Opera, Gospel & Contemporary Christian songs and even a few in Spanish.

Notes on Vocal training: Southern Gospel Music is were he got most of his training, however he was blessed to have as a vocal teacher and mentor Bill Baize who is also his grandfather's cousin. Most notably Bill Baize performed for 5 1/2 years with Elvis Presley as tenor for JD Sumner & The Stamps Quartet. You may recognize Bill as the voice doing the high "Ahhh...Ahhh..." at the end of Elvis's hit song, "Burning Love". Bill also gave a command performance at Elvis' funeral at the request of Vernon Presley. You can find Bill singing "When It's My Time" on YouTube. Bill continues to preach and sing Gospel music all over the world.
