she is well into her 70s ,struggling and still getting her £8 deducted(index linked)

I know she did wrong, for earning £20 a week on top of her benefit, but she needed the money to live.

This was filmed Prescot Steet , Low Hill.

You can see Coach and Horses pub in the background and Royal Liverpool Hospital.

The building he fell from is still there and is called Bridewell Art Studios.

I grew up around this area and remember them filming this as a teenager.

Sadly, it looks like these times are on their way back with a vengence as the Tory elite take the reins again with the Lib-Dems in support selling out so pissed on scraps of power from the table. I remember my Dad saying that he used to watch this being filmed from the Royal Hospital were he was working at the time and did do until the late 80's.
