  • Really great books.

I felt so bad for Fitz in all the farseer books and was kind of depressed that he only became a lazy scholar in the end.

But I havent yet read the tawny man trilogy and I hear it continues Fitz's adventures, God I'm so looking forward to reading those books!

  • @TomValedro

I found the Tawny Man trilogy even more engrossing than the Farseer trilogy, if that's possible!

I think after the traumas Fitz endured in the Farseer trilogy he more than deserved the quieter life he discovered at the end of Assassin's Quest. But I'm guessing you'd be happier if he was dragged back into the scheming and intrigue of court life by his old pal, the Fool. You never know...it could happen.

  • hello ! this is a great video and i really appreciated it ! it brought back memories...

i'm a 13 year old boy, i love reading and the farseer trilogy and the tawny man trilogy are definitely the best books i have ever read ! you get so attached to fitz and the fool ! can you tell where you got the picture at 2:13 please ?? thank you

    Thanks for your comment.

Sorry, I can't recall where I found that particular image- I suggest you do a google image search and it'll probably show up.

  • where did you find these pictures? especially the first few illustrating Fitz's arrival at buckeep?

  • The b&w/sepia-toned images are taken from the French graphic novel, which is entitled L'Assassin Royal: Volume 1: Le batard. The rest are book cover designs, mostly by John Howe, with some miscellaneous scenery pics thrown in!

  • Hobb is phenomenal author and her books are years ahead of other fantasy writers.

  • Nice video. I wish there was more good fan art to go around! I can't believe how little of it I find on the internet.

You should try to credit the artists. I recognized most of it being by John Howe.

Good video! It's too bad it ends so abruptly.

  • @SinnermanStyler ok thanks !

  • I was kinda dissapointed by the end of the farseer trilogy, but the tawny man made up for it

  • @SinnermanStyler Yes, but I was expecting the whole time that he'd go back to the love of his life and spend a happy life with her and his kid. Instead he became just a lonely & lazy scholar with the occasional visit from starling.

Anyway I'm glad to hear that the tawny man trilogy is even better in you opinion, makes me anticipate it even more.

  • Ive been reading it over the course of 3 years and Its Still amazing!

  • I am halfway through the only Robin Hobb trilogy that I haven't read. Amazing author.
