Young kid's are not taking up pigeons,which is whats badly needed to keep the hobby alive, pigeon racing gets very little media publicity, every club should do its bit with regards to promoting the hobby at local level, also its become too competitive and expensive for a novice starting out, its gradually becoming a hobby for the well to do fancier.
