  • When you refer to the herring fishery as "single species ", isnt that a little misleading?Or are you just talking about the actual landings and failing to consider all the other species that get caught in the 2 inch mesh?It would be fun to show a video of some herring trawlers in action to a large group of EDF supporters. As for the rest of this vid -LAME!!!!More bullshit put out there to fool the public.

  • Mary Beth, you said it, look at the Alaska Fishery, there were over 280 working crab boats before Sectors now there are approximately 80 left, yeah that's how its done, eliminate the small boat owner. Give a select few processors the only right to distribute the crab and put more hard-working, tax-paying Americans out of work. GOOD JOB IN THIS PROMOTION.
