Tribute to Julia Santos (All My Children)

A tribute to Julia Santos as portrayed by Sydney Penny from 1993-1996; 2002; 2005-2008 on All My Children.

And on a personal note as a fan of AMC and this character: ABC ought to be ashamed of themselves for underusing the beautiful and talented Sydney Penny in favor of focusing on new characters who have no history with the show.

Even more insulting was that no one from Julia's family was at her side as she died - and the salt in the wound was having Krystal Carey of all people - be the last person Julia sees. This is lazy and shameful writing and a small part of the reason why people tune out of daytime TV. No respect for history means no respect to the viewers. Why daytime TV execs do not get this is beyond me.

Also, I made this montage because the insensitive disgusting folks at ABC Daytime did not even bother to show any sort of memorial service for Julia, and no montage of her time on the show.

Goodbye Sydney, we will always cherish your portrayal of Julia and you will be missed! It is truly ABC's loss, and we know you will move on to better projects.

Thanks!! Well, even though I wasn't able to use that one clip, I still feel like giving you props since you have a lot of great clips of AMC on your page, and we appreciate you sharing them. They are a great reminder of the glory days...AMC just isn't very good anymore.

And yes, I probably didn't mention how they were having her exit. It was so sad. In her last scenes she really proved what a great actress she was - and showed them what they missed out on. Sad, - they had it all this time.

Since I started watching, (when Erica was just a teenager) Julia has been my absolute favorite character ever, and Noah and Julia were the most romantic couple. Thanks for doing this!

AMC has had some great couples: Tad and Dixie, Julia and Noah, Edmond and Maria, Mateo and Haley, Angie and Jesse. Ethan and Simone could have been one. And I miss Frankie and the original Colby at least as friends.

Sydney Penny is such a great actress and will sadly be missed on AMC.

Shame Megan Mc Tavish ruined her return as she did Dixie. I would rather have Julia ,Brooke and Dixie back over Krystal and any so called new additions to AMC

Oh wow! I'm a guy who use to watch AMC in middle school, so the last time I watched was probably during the summer of 94!!! I've missed a lot! I remember having a crush on her sister, Maria. Is AMC available on DVD?
