  • What is the plate? Is it a scale?

  • No it a Bridge they put it over another bridge because the road bridge has a weight restriction so this cover all the bridge

  • No the new power station at brocketsbrae

  • Great video!! Next time shut the sound off.

  • what sort of waight do the ballast boxes carry, all depends on the load being moved and amount of traction needed i guess

  • Rawcliffe has a vessel deck rated at 150 tonne. They are spreading the load with the bailey bridge anyway. How heavy was the transformer?

  • Vessel Carriers arent strong enough Girder sets have been in use for over 50yrs dont you think other things have been tried ?

  • A vessel deck would be cheaper, quicker, less wear and safer. Hasn't a transformer fell off Allelys girder set?

  • Yeh, I'd say the same. I can never really understand those big girder trailers.

Maybe if it's 300 tonnes+ but often the trailer looks heavier than to load!.

  • Seems quite over the top for a transformer that i suspect is around 150 tonne mark.

  • Oh, smart. I've never thought of mobile standard bridge-extenders before... Only seen extra support under bridges and steel plates on top...
