the joy of playing this game with the highest settings possible is just simply amazing, everything seems so realistic

turn the aa off, you might be able to squeeze out some higher settings.
personally, i dont often use AA for anything, since my shader-power/vram balance is off. not enough vram to properly use my GPU lol
seriously though, any AA at all is a serious killer to performance, since it takes more vram.
