  • i dont think that was in the 6's. Maybe high 7 or low 8

  • no way to make 600hp on a 4rotor with stock style ports on 13B housings lolol.

  • @rotarymagic I never said anything about a PP.... where did I mention porting at all?

  • @Tj1056 Its not a "stock" 4rotor. There is nothing stock about peripheral port housings or a custom eccentric shaft for a 4rotor. You're delusional.

  • What generation of RX7 is that? ND? How did you fit the turbo setup AND LS1 under that hood?

  • Mazda never made a Stock 4 Rotor Engine, Saying its the same as a 13B but with 4 rotors is like saying a V8 Engine is the same as a 4 Cylinder. The 4 Rotor R26B was used in prototypes and exclusively in the 787B Le Mans Car.

They did a stock 3 rotor engine, which was in the Mazda Cosmo.

But yes, someone can build you a 4 rotor, if you have pockets deep enough to pay for it, seeing as its all custom work to modify two 13B engines to fit onto each other to make the 4 rotor...

  • Mazda never made a "stock" 4 rotor, ever. They Made a Stock 3 Rotor for the cosmo.

The R26B was used exclusively for Prototype cars and the 787B Le Mans Car

  • @rotarymagic yes there is a "stock" 4 rotor its the same thing as a 13b n/a but with 4 rotors duh... I can go buy a 4 rotor if I wanted to also there are people that build them... but what makes it different from the ls7 is the power to size ratio... its makes around 500hp off the basic build but with port jobs like anyone would do when building a 4 rotor you looking at 600hp+ off a N/A engine... then throw a simple turbo kit on and make a good 1000whp for track day...

  • @Tj1056 There is no such thing as a "stock" 4rotor. Its a race motor and Mazda never sold a production 4rotor anything to the public. The LS7 on the other hand, can be purchased at any Chevrolet dealer. You are gravely mistaken kid if you think a peripheral port 4rotor has anywhere near the driveability and manners of a LS7.

  • And the silverado looked beautiful :) but seriously, how do you fit two turbos in that car? Love these ls1 rx7s. Rotary is cool and everything, but sounds like a glorified weed eater after it's built up. Nothing wrong here though. Awesome car
