CONTEMPORARY TAILORING DESIGNED USING ESSENTIAL LINES
Perfect geometries develop into sensual curves, following the body.
The triangle, square and circle melt in draping, cuts and overlaps that make for items both
structured and soft.
Apparently hard lines come to life on feminine curves, through liquid cloth with cold hand.
Linen, cotton and silk, pure or mixed together create soft yet thick mat-like fabric, svelte
canvas with a used effect or feather-light gauzes that cross the whole collection like a theme.
Every construction is more than what it seems.
A simple dress springs out from multiple shapes. A formal neckline, a tube dress, a round
skirt or a male pant are divided into semplified elements coming together again into an
essential collection.
Round pleats move the lines on jackets and dresses or unespectedly soften a top or a skirt
defining contemporary tailoring.
Skinny pants and lean jackets make a statement and the silouhette. Dresses with full
volumes have a thousand cuts, dilating and upsetting the lines with overlaps wrapping the
body with cotton layers.
Deconstructed constructions define the tailored spirit: visible stitching mark the hems.
Unfinished rough cotton lining turn a perfect neckline unperfect. Gauze laces become cloth
belts on jackets and overcoats.
The colour palette is playing between two extremes: black and white smooth away in neutrals
like sable, grey and tobacco.
Red hints showing on the inside play hide and seek with the feminine side.
