  • Thanks for the kind comments. What's with: City: Poznan, and Hometown: Frankfurt?

Gehst Du in Frankfurt oder in Poznan auf die Uni?

  • Nice too see, Bernie.

The sewing shop looks to me to be a saddlers shop.

A bit odd, but I have a special connection to Shelburne, as I own a carriage that once belonged to the Webb family.

  • That is very interesting. How did the carriage end up in the Netherlands? And what are you doing with such a carriage? I know, you're not Amish, so what gives?

  • Very interesting! Thanks for the tour!

  • Karolyn:

I looked up your video and was absolutely spellbound. How did you do the effects? Terrific.

  • I was there the other day

  • Thanks for the very nice reply. Glad you enjoyed watching and visiting. I use my Macbook laptop that has iMovie from which I use the video effects. It is a fun way to make videos. Thanks!

  • So nice of you to post this. You should make more videos :) I like the way you talk and also watched some 'older' videos. They were very interesting as well. Kudos to you sir.

  • What gives?

As the story goes, somebody bought an uncertain number of carriages at Shelburne in the early nineties and brought them over. I bought one in very good original condition, and found out later by accident where it probably originated (and was astonished).

I have a big interest in horses, antique carriages, restoring, researching and driving them.

  • Is fall already starting over there? Wow!

Check my favourites! There is a photo contest (finishes in a couple of days) that you might like to take part in! Would be fun if you did!

A really wonderful and content-ful day, Bernie. Thanks so much for sharing!
