  • Nancy LaMott was a super-talented singer with a lot of heart whom I had the good fortune to see a bunch of times at the Tavern On The Green and the Algonquin Hotel in 1995. I will always remember what a profoundly moving performer she was-- truly a unique and beautiful vocalist. Highly recommended to check out her recordings, especially for couples and romantics everywhere. There is also a DVD available of her performing. Nancy was unforgettable.

  • Your songs have brought countless joy to my heart. Wherever you are now, Nancy, thank you. Kudos to you, nar5038.

  • I believe this is by far the loveliest version posted on You Tube. The 50's vibe might be more correct to the times it was written, but the pace and voice, the soft piano and flute are much more attuned to the feeling and words of the song. Thanks for posting!

  • When I think about the reality of never having a new CD of Nancy LaMott's, It's torture. This is where I live. Her voice floats somewhere above the clouds & down to your toes.My heart sings at the very thought of her.

  • Ah, lovely, send on the girls! What a superb singer!

  • I think I just figured out what the flute should have done to end it. Just change one note ... It's so close to perfection!

Can't think of any improvements for Nancy, of course. Nancy is perfection times soul to the power of infinity.

  • i wish i had met nancy. she is truly a dream. god bless her.

  • I cry every time I hear this version of MFH. Such a romantic, yet painfully sad song.

  • What a beautiful rendition!

  • nar5038, dear friend, THANK YOU for this absolutely gorgeous rendition of one of the sweetest songs ever!

Nancy, you were and are always the best - in my heart. Always...
