Minecraft 1.1 - Ladder Mechanics

Today was the release of 1.1. I've made some separate videos on some of the cool new features.

Here is a list of features:

+ Bow Enchantments
+ New language translations.
+ Sheep eat grass and regain their wool
+ Added spawn eggs to creative (the colors of the eggs even look like the mobs)
+ Added world type options (currently only super-flat and default)
* Golden Apple recipe
* Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes
* Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds
* Removed collision box from ladders
* Bug fixing

You didn't even test with water? Do you even know that much about mincecraft? Sorry, but this video did not help explain what's changed with ladders and collision at all.

@Elricwulf Player Collision was Changed. What does Water have to do with ladders? but i think the before and after kind of shown the player collision.

There go's half of the monster traps ): they worked with ladders holding back lava etc.

ladders cant be used with trapdoors now.

I hate the new ladder mechanics. Because they removed the hit boxes you can't stand on top of 'em which means you can't jump from the top of a ladder, not even to a stone slab right above you... at least they said they would bring it back in the 1.2 version :D

@itsFlippyy I just watched his video to see what had changed, and it didn't really explain much. People have to think and test for themselves, but if you are going to post a demo vid, at least be thorough about it. I use signs to stop water flow anyway, as I though ladders seemed to have too many other quirks to be stable.

Ladders still hold up water & lava.

1 in every 200 leaves you chop down gives u an apple. any type of leaves.

@DJparsons89 Good; I think alot of people would have been upset at their maps being screwed up if ladders no longer stopped water from flowing through the block. I usually use signs for that purpose, anyway, so as long as they don't change that, I'm good.
