PROLOGUE:
Nick had never given much thought to who he'd marry -- A superfan, Selena, Miley, sure... all those named were mentioned off by people around him, but he himself, had never thought about it. It never occurred to him that the woman he married would have to share him with the rest of the world. They wouldn't have privacy. All these thoughts never entered his mind until today.
He knew if he never escaped with his brothers to Canada, and not to mention, tooken the wrong ferrie, he' would have never met her. He knew Joe wouldn't have been happy, because everyone knew before this trip, Joe was really never happy. I guess we could blaim Camilla, his ex for that.
You could say that trip saved their lives. Okay, lets not go that far, but the trip defenitly helped their lives, improved them, even. Alltogether, it brought that back to earth, which is what they needed. Nick wasn't an air head, he wasn't full of himself, or conceided. None of them were. But they forgot what it was like to be real, and to be happy, without the material things in life. That was all about to change if he did not get on that flight. That flight could change his life.
[Chapter One, A few months ago... ]
(Joe glanced around at the seats of people on a ferrie. He sighed, knowing once again, he let his brothers down. Though, this time, it could have been a common mistake, but I guess If this was the only thing he was responsible of doing, and failed, Kevin and Nick had all the right to be mad. They weren't though. His brothers were good that way. Joes job, was to make sure they got to the right ferrie, and to book it. He booked it, and got them there, the only thing is, it wasn't the right one. They were heading to Nanaimo, which was two hours away from Victoria, their original destination. Two hours wasn't so bad though, Nick just had to make sure he followed the map correctly.)
Kevin: How much longer?
Nick: (glances at his watch) About 10 minutes.
Joe: Who wants a water?
Anounceer: Everyone driving aboard should be heading down to the car decks now, please travel safley, and wait in your cars until further notice.
Joe: ... Nevermind.
Kevin: (picks his bag up) Let goooo.
Nick: (follows behind Joe and Kevin) No one better have touched my car.
(The boys walked down to the car decks and waited as directed. Once the cars begin to move, Nick started the engine and they made their way out. Kevin, sitting shot gun beside Nick, pulled out a map. They found the easiest way to get to Victoria and began.)
Nick: I'm completley tired.
Kevin: I told you, you could have slept on the ferrie.
Nick: I've learnt from experience not to fall asleep in public.
Kevin: There wasn't any fans around anyways.
Joe: Yeah, that was kind of wierd. Im used to the screams, like evverrrywhere.
Kevin: (smiles) I think I'll like this place.
Joe: I'm suprised you're not still upset about not bringing Danielle.
Kevin: (shrugs) I'll get over it.
Nick: (turns the radio on)
Joe: ... is that?
Nick: Paranoid...
Kevin: Ugh. (turns it off)
Joe: (lays down in the backseat) Wake me when we get to Victoria.
Nick: (rolls his eyes)
(Almost 20 minutes pass with nothing but Kevins directions, and the occasional snicker when he said "turn right." Everything was going smoothly until Nick began to make concered faces.)
Kevin: What?
Nick: Do you hear that?
Kevin: ... Hear what?
Nick: That, listen...
Kevin: (goes quiet) I don't hear anything...
Nick: It's like, a ticking noise.
Kevin: Oh... pull over here.
(Nick notices a school ahead, but pulls up on the side of a quiet road. Him and Kevin get out, confused, they pop the hood and look around.)
Nick: Ugh... I can't see anything wrong with it.
Kevin: Start the engine again for a second.
Nick: (attempts at starting the engine) No.. no.. please, no.
Kevin: Oh god. It wont start, will it?
Nick: (trys again) DAMNIT!
