Great piece both vocal and guitar. Confirms my conclusion that there is nothing of value on mainstream radio today. I can't remember the last time I heard something beautiful on the radio in the English language. Sometimes I catch an awesome Mexican piece but even the Mexican stations are rushing into the audience-tested lowest-common denominator sink hole. Youtube thank you.

@boothl232 ty mate , i already have found the discography ^^

@punksta13 Check out the fourth title in Fantastic Voyages Let Me Tell You About the Blues series. Let Me Tell You About The Blues - Texas (The Evolution Of Texas Blues). It has
2 songs by Texas Alexander and some other artists as well. It is a 3 cd set, recently released.
That's about all I've been able to find.

Algar "Texas" Alexander was from Jewett, TX. He was a cousin of Lightnin' Hopkins. He stopped recording around 1929. He made one comeback 78 in 1950. He died in 1954 from complications of venereal disease.
Thanks for posting this recording from an essential Texas bluesman.
