First 100 Days: Iowa

During President Romney's first 100 days, he will move to repeal Obamacare and make government live within its means. But most of all, a Romney presidency will mean the people of Iowa will worry less about their future and their children's future.

No politician alive has the cajones to stop spending. No one wants to give up a piece of the pie. So why not just make a 10% cut straight across the board at all levels of government? No targeting or playing favorites. Just a straight reduction in gov't spending across the board. Even Alan Simpson of Fix The Debt, who called Social Security a milk cow with 310 million tits, is retired and receiving a nice federal pension with health benefits. I don't see him giving up any of that.

First off, what's so special about those "First 100 Days" in office?? Is there something unique about those first 100 days?? Did Obama achieve something that benefitted everybody during his first 100 days in office?? I cannot think of any except going into a spending orgy a month after taking office that made Bush's spending look like nickels and dimes.

So, why the first 100 days?? Why not the first 100 hours? Why not the first 100 minutes? Why not the first 100 presidential bowel movements?
