This is the beautiful Blackhawk Bridge crossing the Mississippi River in Lansing, Iowa. The bridge was constructed in the 1930s and is still in heavy use today.

  • how is it there in March?

  • This was actually filmed in March (2006), so.... what you see is pretty much what it's like at this time of year. In early March, like now, there's some snow on the ground and a bit of ice in the water, but by the end of the month, that's usually all gone.

  • we used to have a place up in lansing but the roof colapsed so now we have one down in harpers ferry
