  • I am happy to see that you are interested in seeing this kind of stuff. I actually have tons of working and nonworking stuff here that I plan on showing in the future. I also have several projects in the works including a time fountain and a custom switching power supply.

  • It would be a good idea to replace that diode, it's a protection device even though it caused a failure. Tenma is the brand they sell through MCM Electronics so even if you can't read the diode maybe they have schematics.

  • I tried to find this Tenma model on eBay.which one is it?

  • You might want to put a new diode in place of that old one. it serves as an ESD protection. and backfeed protection as well.
