By Request: Youtube site on Archos 101 w/ Flash

The Froyo Youtube app is still a better experience, but you can see it's certainly usable straight from the webpage.

Ugh, I don't like the lag.. I've got a HTC HD2 with Android Froyo Sense on it... And I can play 480p without lag, due to enabling 'Higher Resolution Available in full screen'

Try to enable that and check how it performs with 480p or 720p(Whatever it choses).

@papagoja i dont see that option anywhere...not sure if this build of flash is up to date or not. Archos is promising their official implementation with hardware acceleration in the next few weeks so we'll see how that helps

What about facebook games? like Yoville, and all the bunch of flash games?

@kkakis i don't play any facebook games so i haven't tried them. Flash games work as long as the controls are touch friendly(and if they aren't too taxing for the tablet.. which the optimized Flash apk should help).

@kkakis you can play it, well usually flash video is heavier than games.. just the case in Ipad.. it can run flash using frash but only the games not the video. and if it does it'll lag like hell

same experience here, a little laggy in youtube, i hope Archos will release it soon.

Is your Archos clocked at 800 Mhz, at 1Ghz it works faster.
