Pardon my tongue-in-cheek commentary. I needed to cut loose a bit after all the "serious" gun reviews I had been doing for my other channel (AirgunReview). I'm a satirist by nature, and it is usually a bit of a chore for me to quell my zest for controversy.

This video helped me "recharge my batteries". And hell, maybe you even liked it. Worse yet, maybe it was educational. ;)

Birds seen in this video:
Chipping Sparrow
Barn Swallow
Northern Flicker
Common Grackle

Birds shot in this video:
European Starling(s)

Equipment:
Edgun Matador .22 air rifle
Hawke Sidewinder 30 scope
Casio EX FC 150 digital camera
Panasonic DMC-TS1 digital camera
JSB 18.1gr pellets @ 910 feet/second.

  • Grackles protected? Where?

  • @MrMelon049 I know it sounds strange - because the bird is seemingly shot by every kid with a bb gun. But, the truth is that grackles are a protected migratory bird. HOWEVER, it is completely LEGAL to shoot them if they are causing damage to property or agriculture. And, since this is so often the case, it is legal to shoot them under those circumstances. I have had to shoot grackles in the past, but the ones in this video were not causing any known damage.

  • Hey everybody I'm 13 I have a little story to tell and question at the end, sitting in my nieghbor hood backyard that heads into the woods never have killed a single thing. I get home from school and see there are a lot of birds around I grab my air rifle load a pellet into it and see a decently nice sized bird with my iron sights I've had a lot of experience shooting guns just never been hunting. So user a bird aim in and fire it falls just inside the corner of my neighbors fenced in yard and

  • LOL! Double breasted mattress thrasher

  • I like to shoot the stick the bird is standing on. I know its mean, but its more fun sometimes to scare the crap out of the bird than to actually kill it.

  • @brainards11 I see your reasoning. I have a '79 F-150 Ranger Lariat.

  • @Fordfanforlife777 I stated it because...the guy is a damn good marksman. He uses math and physics and nails his target under extreme conditions. I say...more power to him. BTW, I do appreciate the fact that you like Fords. I own a F150 and love it.

  • @brainards11 Never said that. To you I said "Wow. Just wow."

  • @Fordfanforlife777 ignorant comment? Where do you get off that I'm ignorant...
