@djangledoobledangus its not the oly movie where cage acts well. he had won an oscar before that movie you know? and he was great in bringing out the dead and moonstruck too. port of call new orleans wasn't hezrog's best but he was good in that too.
still, adaptation is a great movie and synecdoche new york is one of the very best of the decade

I really admire Charlie Kaufman. Catherine Keener is beautiful. I think Kaufman's movies end up bringing out the best in some otherwise average actors, too. Best example I think is Nicholas Cage. Because of Adaptation I realized that he can actually act when necessary.
