Russe songs are usually pretty cheesy, containing shouts such as "put your hands up!" or "jump!" and so forth. This one just contains some cheesy lyrics. The festival is in May, these songs are used to promote the buses that will be involved; they're put on youtube and played in clubs around Norway.

The "whistle" reference is because the graduates get whistles at the festival, just an FYI, oh and apparently it's pretty cold out in May.
