Maybe that's the key, Nadal usually attacks hard hitters backhand to make their returns uncomfy (see how he plays against Federer on last French Open for an example), but players get used to that type of attacks. Anyway, on hard courts Nadal should make lower shots because players like Blake, Berdych or Djokovic love those medium-high topspinned balls to hit back very hard.

nadal really started going after Blake's Forehand. I think he is realizing that he can't be afraid to go after the forehands of these hard hitters. He sets up the point nicely especially when he was returning Jame's serve.
