I can't argue with that. Personal experience trumps ALL reviews and I thank you for sharing your experience with the 'gadget' crew. I expect that you're finding the same shortcomings in the product that I did... I was hoping that they would rev the ThermaPAK... If they hear enough from people like you, maybe they will.

i have it ... i had the highest expectations for this.... but now id rather just get a fan

This is not for heavy gaming
And after the crystals become liquid, it actually start working less since the absorption is pretty reasonable (no better than standard stand coolers though), but the dissipation is not so.. (and the only place it can go is actually...your lap)

Father, your videos are great. I've been studying a few of the carefully to get develop solutions for my geek environment. Currently, I'm trying to network triple monitors with one keyboard & mouse and 2 PCs... AND trying to get rid of any lag... AND hoping to get triplehead2go kind of dynamics happening for each PC. Laptop heat is a MAJOR PROBLEM of mine (blew out several fans, lost lots of data, currently using a noisy targus fan under) - I'm definitely going to try one of these!!!

blaaaaaaaaaaaa this thing sucks, fans loud but at least it was still cool for the most part, once it melts it just heats up, how can gamers use this?? it doesnt burn when its on legs but i dont see much point to this thing 35.oo down the tube
