To all my viewers who haven't seen my recent Canon Rock covers, and also to those who have, here it is! You can probably tell I haven't practiced on the song lately - which is okay. I'm finding other songs to practice. :D I think I did a fair job considering I haven't been playing it very much these past months.

Canon Rock still burns within my heart - however, it is not a constant obsession like before - that's good! This is why I have removed the title "The Canon Rock Freak Channel" from my channel page.

To let you in on something....
You can hear that I have not recorded through my computer's mic jack - which is good in a way because my tone is still not what it should be. It sounds a lot better through my amps, as in the video. The camera's microphone is recording the audio from 2 amps. I thought it was nice quality indeed - or at least a lot better than I expected! The truth is, I was going to record through my DAW with the computer's mic instead of the camera's mic, but I forgot to hit the record button my DAW! (Audacity) How silly! This was such a good take compared to my others that I had to keep it. So I placed the backing track on top of the audio of the video to enhance the backing.

Yes, you can hear mistakes and sloppiness here and there, but my goal isn't to become another Funtwo. I was just having fun sharing what I can play. I'm proud of my being able to play what I can. This is a hard song! I still can't do sweeps properly - sorry - I was hoping my next Canon Rock Cover would be with sweeps, but I couldn't resist recording and releasing this. It will probably be years until I play like I'm still wishing.
