@lemongrass33 Do you happen to know if this particular recording of the piece is from a studio/live recording? I absolutely love this particular time that he played, and it seems it is not from the concert in Moscow.

Can anybody tell me what this piece of music is? It is definitely something Russian, but I am not sure about it being Tchaikovsky...

V.Horowitz and A.Rubinstein two oposite character
and two great artist in they own way.And behind -all those suffering people

you're right...their personalities were very different...Rubinstein mentioned in his autobigraphy that although they were friends on the surface, but the two men disliked each other...nevertheless, we can't say who's better because both were extraodinary pianists.
