  • Can anybody tell me what this piece of music is? It is definitely something Russian, but I am not sure about it being Tchaikovsky...

  • Scriabin etude Opus 2 no.1

  • Thank you very much for the 'Horowitz in Moscow' videos. Best regards,

  • I'm glad you like them...if i have time...i'll post some more.

  • V.Horowitz and A.Rubinstein two oposite character

and two great artist in they own way.And behind -all those suffering people

  • you're right...their personalities were very different...Rubinstein mentioned in his autobigraphy that although they were friends on the surface, but the two men disliked each other...nevertheless, we can't say who's better because both were extraodinary pianists.

  • In Soviet Russia, the greatest piano in the world considers Horowitz to be the greatest pianist in the world.

  • That women in the end is so sweet

  • the women in the last part almost made me cry...

  • Wonderful recordings thank you but would be also interesting to insert dates.

  • @lemongrass33 Do you happen to know if this particular recording of the piece is from a studio/live recording? I absolutely love this particular time that he played, and it seems it is not from the concert in Moscow.

  • That poor lady had been there all night to be certain of obtaining a ticket. It would be desperately cold, Bless her! I am glad she finally achieved her childhood ambition.
