If dropped, it cracks and no longer works. Return Shipping is in the thousands to get it to a qualified glassworker who can handle Pyrex. Then you need to go through the gas flushing and refill process.
My advice: Don't drop them!

Not much. I've answered this same question many timed before: The globe will simply cease to work the moment the seal or the electrical contact is broken. If it's one of mine that you break, you'll find yourself wondering is it was such a good idea to break it in the first place.

That song is called:
"Say Hey" By Australian Singer Kylie Minogue. It is featured on her "Impossible Princess" Album.
I opted to use the song in the video because it was actually playing in the background at the time. I highly recommend the album which is nothing but excellence from start to finish.
