One of the things I like most about animals is their "innocence". It makes me smile to see the world through the eyes of an animal for a few moments. Sasha was enjoying snacking on some snow, and just walking around in it enjoying her day. Then I said, "Do you want to go for a car ride?" and her ears perked up. She started "smiling" and running around in excitement. I took her to the park and when we got home about two hours later I just opened the car doors and did not call her out like I usually would. I had some time so I figured I would let her do as she wished. She stayed in the car, and I found it funny for some reason. It was as if she was saying, "I'm good, I'll just wait here until you are ready to go back out... you know, to continue our day together." There she sat for about 1/2 hour. This is minimally edited footage, I was just enjoying some time with Sasha, so it may run a little long.

  • aww this nearly made me cry, after seeing the Rest in peace video ):

My dog had to be put down, i am making a slideshow for that, But sasha looked like such a sweet dog. I'm sorry you lost her ):

  • @mizuuchiha323 Thank you for your kind words. It is sad how mis-matched the lifespans are between dogs and humans; because we truly bond with them. Life moves in only one direction though... forward. That love that you have for your dog when it is gone, the grief that you feel; I wanted to turn it into something positive. We ended up adopting two rescue dogs within that same year. Love doesn't die, it just transfers. :)

  • awesome video
