is this the one they sell at fryer to fuel?
-
is there another barrel of oil feeding the centrifuge or are you just centrfuging what ever is in the barrel?
-
@julescicle I build a high speed centrifuge and it separates heavy fats from oil.
I clean a mix of palm, sunflower and canola oil, the palm oil was solid (I work during past winter, at about 12-15°C), and I can separe the heavy and soid oil from the clean oil.
You can see it at picasaweb.google.com/vrc.ventu

does this clean out heavy saturated fats from the restaurants?

@julescicle The oil has to be heated, so the fats are usually melted. When unheated, the heavy fats will not pass through the centrifuge jets.

The color doesn't change. The transparency of the oil changes.

does your oil eventually get clear and clean, or does it stay that dark color?
