@merylus no you can't, not without listening to thousands of hours of the funk Masters
from Parliament Bros. Johnson Prince Sly Stone Herbie etc.. then applying these chords to tunes... then spending a lot of time in the garage or rehearsal room creating a groove with a real bassist and drummer, guitar..without a drum machine...then you can play in a funk band . and really play funk

@sfbrown11 yeah . it's little wack. solo funk piano.it's helpful for me becuz i play solo a lot, but for somebody who wants to play in a group and not do the bass w/the left hand himself, i would recommend the other guy with the bass player on his vids. nice two hand open chords and comping patterns clearly demonstrated. "how to play funk piano master class"

it's a nice groove but as a bass player, it would piss me off to have the piano playing a bass line. it's restrictive to what i can play, because then i have to double the piano line, because it sounds muddled to have different things happening at once in the bass.
