Canon 7D PL Mount Hot Rod Cameras At Birns & Sawyer, Hollywood.

I got the chance to play around with the Hot Rod Cameras PL Mount Canon 7D at Birns and Sawyer, Hollywood. I ended up using Really Right Stuff Base Plates to prevent the camera from shifting with the Big Ass 25-250mm HR lens and Arri FF4 Follow Focus. I used a 7" Marshall HDMI monitor and it all worked just like a 35mm Motion Picture setup.

It's all rental gear I'm guessing it would cost close to 50k for everything here.

The reason it is a 7D is that the 5D has a ton of vignetting.

@2migell They won't use a Canon 7d.. or even DSLR's for that matter. Cameras more like the RED. Act of Valor, new film coming it is shot mostly on DSLR though!

Why use a 7d? if you can afford PL lenses you can at least afford a Canon C300

Just buy a video camera, you don't want to wast your money on motorized zooms when Video Cameras are meant for that.
