My perspective - with laptop cam - of Shuttle launch about 40 miles East of my Orlando house.Begins with coverage of the local tv broadcast.Contains background commentary from nasa tv at nasa.gov - about 30 seconds behind via laptop. Not the best I'm afraid,so you'll have to visit to share the real thing with me.

  • And yet my view with the naked eye, showed it bigger than that. Also, none of the initial glowing sky was captured.:( Oh well.I might try to capture the blinds being blown by the sonic booms prior to landing - it will be a laugh if I can share that.

  • I know exactly what you mean! I didn't hear the sonic boom, but I certainly saw it better with my own eyes than with what my camera captured...although I do believe your camera was sadly very out of focus.

  • Very cool. ALl I got was sand in my face. Usually can see it from Fort Lauderdale but heavy clouds rolled in at 22:15
