what ryu is this? Shorin-ryu Kyudokan? Kanazawa says that no other ryu includes the kata Sochin excluded Shotokan and Shito

I've trained in Hung Fist style and okinawan karate. I see and feel the differences. Hung fist, the continuous attack, whereas, okinawan karate, one hit one kill. Both have merit.

There are many ways that kata can asist you! becoming a better person! Learning how to use your body! Understanding what it takes to get to such a high level!!!
There is much more in the world of martial arts than just winning street fights...
It has much more to give but you have to find a got teacher and find a god way.

How do you know I am asian ? Gratitude and respect is in all cultures and every where. You can find in Asia people who don't respect others and teachers too. Gratitude is the parents of all virtues. Real budo is not about business but about education , it does not mean that all masters are genuine .
