UK Benefit Thieves Advert

The UK Members of Parliament are all subject to Benefits Legislation. At least until a Decision Maker at the Department of Work and Pensions decides that they are not. The recent outrage about "mistakes" when claiming expenses reminds a lot of people on Benefits (Unemployment, Disability, Pensioners, Incapacity Benefit, Housing Benefit and Working Tax Credits) that Prosecution is the main option used by the Tax and Benefits System.

Those who make the rules are also subject to the rules. It would be handy for them to remember what Benefit Fraud is. It would also be hand for them to know that handing back excessive claims can still result in prosecution.
