I remember that one of these games had a track-ball and the world records were insane. At the javolin throw, I played with one and it broke the speed bar and another one was reset at 1500 going up.

I remember the track ball versions. The new speed meter was an extention but to the right of the speed numbers. It only appeared if you went enough over 1500. Times in the low 7's on the 100 and low 9's on the hurdles too.
