  • This girl reminds me of a hungry & hot little number in our town. She sure made alot of people happy, until she went to college... :)

  • I'm not sure whether or not to say thanks here, but glad you are happy.

  • How much for the Sony mic?

It seems really useful and if the price is right, I just have to pick it up.

  • Just have to Google it, I'm sure the price has changed since I bought it, but then it was around $300 to $400 I think.

  • I actually liked the built in Canon GL2 mic. It seemed really clear, even though it caught background sound it seemed like. The 2 aftermarket ones you put on seemed like it contained you and just caught your voice. im just getting into film and stuff so i dont know if thats what is desired in films or not? Also, if I really dont have enough money to purchase a canon gl2 (i love the cam used my classmates) would u buy one used for around 800-1200? or whats another comparable cam?

  • Well, the ones that just caught me can be good in certain settings. Like doing an interview in a crowded place, ex: restaurant or conference. The shotgun mic does catch background noise, but not as much as the onboard. I don't know if I'd buy one used, when I spend that much money I like a warranty, but it could be good. I think the Canon GL2 is one of the cheapest in this class, so I don't really have any good suggestions for you.

  • It's so refreshing to see a woman who knows her stuff. Very impressed!!

  • Im sorry to say this, but SONY mics usually suck. The built in one always works for me.

  • Oh, well shes pretty, I don't think she'll need the HD cam after all.

  • First of all I'd like to say, you are very beautiful.. I just wanted to make sure, the footage in this clip was filmed on a canon GL 2 /xm2 ? cos I'm about to buy one and the footage on your clip is great ... could you cornfirm please ..Thanks gorgeous

  • weird eye brows...

  • yeah that sony mic sounded muffled

  • Thanks, your test helped me decide on the direction I am going with my own shooting, and thanks for the information on the accessories as well. I am starting to shoot interviews and informational videos for The Hemp Revolution. You can find them on youtube at HempRevMag. Thanks again.

  • I guess buying both would be the best of both worlds. The azden and lavalier both sound equally good. I think it just comes down to what it is you're actually filming. Solid test vid, thanks.

  • Thanks! really helpful. I'm trying to upgrade my gl2's audio, I don't even have a wind cover for the mic right now

  • ironically, I think I like the built-in Canon GL2 mike the best. I have a Canon GL2 mike and I've always wanted to here the different mike set-ups side by side. Thanks for the upload microchunktv!

  • Great eyes, didnt pay much attention after that.

  • how much did the sony camera cost?
