This is very good video of a tardigrade. It's the first I've seen with spatial resolution.

barely..and that's assuming it's at 1mm.
Most of the are around 0.3-0.5 mm, and they tend to be transparent. As such, they are very hard to spot and the fact that they live in moss doesn't help.

that sounds pretty big for an organism like that, would that be visible to the naked eye?

I don't know about eyes, but I know that tardigrades do not grow above 1 mm
