  • This is one of the greatest films of the 1960s. Steve, Faye, the supporting cast, the split-screen, Legrand's score, "Windmills Of Your Mind", the chess scene leading to that kiss...

It's troubling to think that some folks only know the Brosnan/Russo version. They're fine actors, but the remake they starred in was almost as lame as the Ford/Ormond remake of Billy Wilder's "Sabrina" starring Bogart and Audrey Hepburn.

Some films, you just want to swap out the remakes for the reissues...

  • ROBSBIGSCITYSOUL, you posted this video, didn't you? Good job, man! I'm showing it off to spark interest among the unaware...which include the many younger Steve McQueen fans who had no idea he did this, or that this was his favourite film because it proved he could act with the suavity of the best of Hollywood..

  • Groovy 60s music...love it.

  • By 'taking Faye dunaway out' i meant for a meal and dance by the way, in that context.

  • Excellent! I sure enjoyed this.

    Thanx.

  • All men wish they could be like Steve mcqueen for one day, and i wish i had wrote that fantastic music, and the movie and taken Faye dunaway out, and i would have let her keep the money!.

  • Ingeniuos robbery, fantastic music which fits perfect with the picture, similar to Ennio Morricone, and Bernard Herman.

  • This has been one of my favorite movies for many years. This song is used when Steve sneaks out of his house, knocks out the guy who's spying on him, puts him in his Chevy unconscious and lets the car roll away to run into a tree. When cops come to check out this accident, they discover it's one of their coworkers. The big laugh this scene got at the time was one of the cops reciting the then-new Miranda Rights statement to who he thought was a drunk driver.

  • Thank you! One the most stylish and sexy film ever made, way better than the re-make.

  • @albis151 soy eterna enamorada de steve

  • @dukk7777 mi vida, steve mc. siempre te voy a amar
