HOW did I consider myself a hardcore 64 and not know of this game? Hmph. This is the first time I've ever seen this game. Plus I'm viewer number 7000, so I thought I'd comment. Heh, heh, heh...

CONAN!

That Viking level used to drive me nuts o_O Great game!

they could have made a one channel version of the intro music and played it in lower volume within the game. Still two channels for sound effects. I think it would have added to the game.

I actually thought the music was from a synth. Well I have to say it - the c64 was the best 8 bit computer. This proves it.

Really amazing graphics for a C64 game, decent coder and pixle artist can do some amazing graphical feats on the C64 that it other was wasn't capable of doing keeping a steady framerate while doing it too! Just check out Mayhem in Monsterland for C64 for perfect example. C64 could definately pump out better visuals and audio than the NES, that's for sure and this game prooves it, look at the NES port of this, it looks like utter crap graphically compared to this C64 port.

Well put.
They were THE brand of quality on that great machine.

The video upload is confusing!
To get past the Chimera you need to cut the skeleton hanging into the flames, then the demon with the trident appears, you need to kill the demon (not that easy as he keeps disappearing) once he is dead grab the trident and use this to kill the Chimera - the monster blocking the way.
sometimes i load a game just for the intro and music . not for the actual game
