R.I.P. Taggy 1995- 2011

Tag was the best-est dog in the whole world and the cutest Miniature Schnauzer who roamed this earth. He loved performing tricks, eating treats, chasing bunnies -- actually sometimes he thought he was a bunny, being adventurous, and most of all being a loyal friend. He touched our hearts and our lives will never be the same without him.

About 2 months after Tag's death, he came to visit me... I was awaken early in the morning (around 5am), upstairs in bed, from a loud bark in my ear. This was the third time it has happened. It wasn't hard for me to believe it was Tag since I have had prior experiences with ghosts and spirits all my life... plus it sounded just like him. But this time I just wanted to be reassured that it was really him. A few moments after he barked in my ear, I heard a trotting down our 14 wooden steps (just like a little horse when he was younger!). I was so excited and immediately knew it was him! But skeptical me wanted to do just a bit more investigating and make sure it wasn't our cat... and it wasn't... she walked around from the opposite side of the room, stood at the foot of my bed and softly said "meow".

Welcome home again Tag.

judging by the pics you put up he was (is) a charmer

i have a pact with my pets, they are to live as long as i do. some of them have decided not to follow up on their promise, i hope the ones we still have keep up with it.

Sorry for your loss Barb. Good to hear he came back to visit and comfort. I've lost pets in the past who came back in dreams or literally in front of my eyes - good to know someday we will be reunited with their energy.
