@aayou excuse me..i know her acting career graph..she was beautiful, infact immensly beautiful, a very graceful dancer, good dancer and an average actress. She was good in Andaz, Seetha aur Geetha, Sholay, Jyoti and Krodhi (guest role) as an acting artiste very average, sometimes slightly above average as some directors extracted it out from her. Infact so many other actresses were on the same level, Asha Parekh and Aishwarya Rai..all same..average but good Box office draw..

@aayou she can dance well because she is classically trained. And i repeat what i said, Hema beautiful and good dancer but cannot stand a patch in front of Liz Taylor (late..Liz..R.I,P) where acting is concerned.

For the 1st time i have to disagree with you my friend. Hema Malini is absolutely beautiful in Cleopatra get-up, but i am yet to see a lady who can surpass the beautiful Egyptian actress Hind Rostom who dressed up like Cleopatra in 2-minute scene from one of her classic films and captivated the hearts with her sheer beauty and magnetism.
However, i agree with you that Hema Malini is the reigning queen of Bollywood. The new actresses can't even come close to her.

Liz Taylor made the perfect Cleopatra. Hema may be beautiful but cannot stand in front of Liz Taylor's impeccable talent. She only can perform a cleopatra dance thats about it!
