This was the first anime I ever saw and to be honest, it's still the best one I've ever seen, even topping over One Piece, which says quite a lot.

This series differ so much from other mecha-girl series that it could as well have it's own genre.

Saikano is the most beautiful and well written story I've ever had the pleasure of watching and reading and it's an anime you just can't miss watching, no matter what.

Not watching this at least once in your life is like staying a virgin until you die.
