OK, someone tell me if this is some kind of satire, or was this a real wedding? It looked to me like some kind of satire dreamed up by the Daily Show or Stephen Colbert to make vicious fun of American conservatives. It's very hard to believe this was for real. America isn't THAT loony. Is it?

okay, the whole women is placed under the mans authority REALLY pisses me off! The woman must promise to be loyal, but not the man? She must follow his direction? How can Anna be ok with that??? If those vows were ever suggested to me I would probably have punched somebody.

I know everyone says it but giving 110% is one of my biggest pet peeves. You can't give more than your all..

@shoefrog11 I think you missed the first part. It was that Josh had to follow Christ.  If Josh is trying to keep God's commandments and always do the right thing, then it would be fine for Anna to follow him. If he is trying to control her and use authority over her like wanting her to do something that isn't right and just saying that she has to do it because he said so because he is the husband then she shouldn't follow him because that would be wrong.

@JustRockOn i know right! i would have been embarrased if i kissed my man for the first time in public! they were so stiff and not sure where to put their hands and how to position their bodies... what a disappointment for a first kiss. i would want mine to be long and lustful, meaningful and not worry about who was watching... AKWARD!!!!
