Pokemon Platinum: Tower Tycoon Palmer

And now, my second Frontier Brain challenge! This time, it's against the guy we all know, even from Diamond and Pearl versions; Tower Tycoon Palmer.

Though not posted in the comments area, I've shown some of my buddies online these battle videos I do. They all say they appear a bit lop-sided, a one-way fight. So, maybe this video will satisfy them with a classic "good fight" because this fight did have it's complications.

Overall with this battle, even though I did make a comeback near the end, it wasn't easy. I'm positive that if Palmer didn't start out with the Milotic, this would've gone a lot smoother for me. When I fought him on my Diamond game, he started with his Dragonite, so I was expecting that and really caught off-guard when Milotic was first. My Rapidash, Epona (guess where I stole the name from), was nothing more than a scapegoat anyway. But really... once Milotic was out of the picture, I had a much smoother time, obviously. I had trouble with that Milotic in my Diamond game as well.

Anyways, two things to point out with this. First, I made the Battle Recorder pink in color because of Valentines Day and, since I got my Wi-Fi working again, I uploaded this battle onto the Nintendo WFC. For those of you who already have Platinum, or will be getting it very shortly, jot down the Battle Video number somewhere so you can look up this exact battle and watch it on your DS some day.

So what do you gain from beating tycoon palmer? Do u sill have to do other battles or can we leave fight arena? I'm kinda confused on what there is to gain from the fight arena after beating the furious 4..

@WubbaWubba288 Furious 4? You mean the Elite 4? Anyway, the Battle Frontier is simply there as a challenge to players who wants to get better and how to measure themselves. You can technically fight Palmer twice since he uses different Pokemon at a higher difficulty (21 win streak then 49 win streak). It isn't mandatory to fight him and you don't get much more than a "Print" for beating him, but it is just kinda awesome since it gives you some bragging rights.

@Thebigmik1 Who's stupid enough to go posting comments without reading video descriptions describing the tactics they used in a battle video... it's kinda humiliating at a later point finding out the reason sat right in front of you the whole time.

You're lucky Rhyperior has such terrible SpDef, haha. A -2 Draco Meteor did about 75% damage, lol
