Satellite crash. Danger in space?

Russia is monitoring the wreckage of two communications satellites that collided in space above Siberia. NASA says neither the earth nor the International Space Station are at risk from the debris of the Russian and American satellites. But what caused the accident and whos to blame?

you're right they didn't magically disapear, they didn't have them in the first place for them to disapear. lol

i'm not even sure why that guy seemed to mention russia, iran and not the U.S.A. obviously it was the russian and american satellite that was going at tremendous speed, and colided, and i can't see the link to that with iran.
