It was recorded in the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music in Budapest. It was played on the Aquincum organ in the Ferenc Gergely Organ Hall.

  • Unfortunate that this room is not live.

Reger's magnificent works are thrilling in a live room.

In acoustically live cathedrals with shiny mixture stops, they probably sound MUCH better today than when Reger played them.

Thank you, ImreToth, for posting this and photos of Max.

  • I would like to thank you too for your comment, it was a great problem to play this work in that small concert room, but I playd it in a competition, and I couldn't choose from any other places. It would be so good to record this work again in a right place.

You made this sound as good as it could sound in that room.

Yes, someday you will play it on a huge organ in a live cathedral.
