mitsubishi made some good engines.I mean look at the 91 GMC typhoon/syclone with the GM 4.6 l V6 with the mitsu turbo, mitsubishi is probably the best japanese manufacturer out there,as far as reliability.I love the dodge spirit RTs and daytonas, idc what anyone says, the late 80's early 90's super sleepers were some of the best cars ever made, spirit RTs,Mustang SVO,Taurus SHO,GMC Syclone,Lumina Z34,Grand Prix STE,Cutlass 442 quad 4,any Im forgetting?
just like the cars they were re-badged as chryslers for sale in the u.s. look at mitsubishi's of the same time they have the same engines. look i'm not hating on these cars i luv them but you have to face the facts!!!
The colt, starion, arrow and laser are rebadged mitsus. You're bang on correct there. The cars in this video have nothing in common with the mitsu cars. Not the same engines either. Not common platforms, build configurations, or drivetrains. The cars in the video are North American made.
I guess I'll be the third person to tell you, Qnickel27, that these are not Mitsubishi. The 2.2 and 2.5L is a Chrysler designed engine, the vehicles were designed in the United States. The computers are also American made. Some models came equipped with Mitsubishi turbochargers, that is about as Japanese as these vehicles get. You may be confusing these vehicles with Talons or Lasers which were a rebadged Mitsubishi Eclipse, however those vehicles are still jointly designed Japanese-American.
Hahaha.. these aren't Mitsubishi engines... lmfao... the only ones that came with a mits is a d50 ram Dodge/Chrysler conquest tsi and the Dodge/Plymouth colt. i owned a shelby charger i sold it and bought me a chrysler conquest tsi-r/r... and for boost in these things go... ive seen 20+ in the dodge's and my quest is running 21psi... launches like a mother freaker too... 2.6l I4 rwd 5sp+ 21 psi with supporting mods=real fun.. when i got this thing. it beat 5.0 and camaro's lmfao z28 haha ss ha.
