@Dai1lest Listen to rock. Most modern pop and rap is crap. Rock and some country are good.

@sxelfer1 But might I ask. If you didn't believe this song was definatley directed towards at least one specific artist, or at least true for most artists, would you even be listening to it? you'd think the song was a lie and wouldn't listen too it, in your own opinion, if it wasn't true for you some how right? So who does this song go to in your mind?
-
@sxelfer1 Okay, that's fair enough, but now, I've changed that opinion now, which is beyond ignorant, and even if now it's still ignorant to you, it's my own. and note that even though I said that what you just said was fair in a way, i did say it myself in my first comment towards you, that I KNEW it was a forced opinion and that it had changed. i already said that... i'm beginning to think it's really strange we're arguing over this.
-
@spikevampslayer you were ignorant when you made that comment obviously. If you didn't listen to him before, the way you did when your first statement was made you were ignorant. You had no knowledge of his music and just used an opinion someone else forced upon you. That my friend is ignorance, then you listened to him and fell in love. Whether you ended up liking him or not at that point making the comment you did would have been an opinion that would be recognizable and acceptable.

I'm not ignorant

@sxelfer1 again. I judged too fast and I'm quick to admit it, but don't go around judging me. I didn't direct that first comment at anyone in particular, but Eminem, which I quickly took back. It wasn't condesending on anyone else's personal opinion, and was one of my own. I corrected what I realized to be rude, now STOP judging me. you know nothing about me. It was my personal opinion, everyone has one and thats what the comments on each video are for. personal opinion only. stop being mean.
-
@spikevampslayer sorry the correct term i should have called you was ignorant.
-
@sxelfer1 I "stated" that a long time ago. Mind you, i was a person to think for myself and listened to my parents opinions too much. i'll always love this song, but my father introduced the song to me and both my mother and father hated eminem. I wouldn't even listen to him and there for instantly asumed they were right. Since then, I've listen and fallen inlove with Eminem. He's amazing. It just took a hard stage in mylife but dont call me a idiot how much do you really know about me dont?

we were discussing in my English Class why rap today has no more sense of "dream" in the sense that it has to be about the "hood" or other violence things
it seems that music today doesnt seem to have a dream anymore, no more meaning full lyrics that can emotionally touch people and give a positive message
i love this song it has that message and that dream. (in my eyes, or in my eyes :P)

This is the first time I ever heard this song. Cool lyrics, and I totally agree with him.
Most rap (and most popular music) today is shit! Rappers are always "bigging up" (as we say in Jamaica) themselves. Their lyrics are totally empty.
It's a pity Will stopped rapping. We need more rappers like him and Common (1990s Common preferabely) and Outkast, and all other rappers out there with wicked lyrics, and wicked tunes.
