love the box!!

one question?
where do you get your metals from?
especially the sterling silver

Your box is as beautiful as you and your most recent project. Keep the word and the action of metal arts front and center.
Smile and be happy. Om Shalom

Very good instruction Aimee,
When you sweat the solder does'nt it make it hard work to remove the excess?
Thanks

Aimee, I do have a question, have you ever soldered on twisted wire around the outside edge of a piece of jewelry, like you see on western jewelry, I would sure like to know your process for doing so. Thanks.

Not if you don't put too much on to begin with. Usually there is very little clean up there.

You could twist the wire, solder it into the shape you want. The sand the bottom and just sweat solder. If you don;t want to sand the bottom flat you could just tack it where the pieces of wire touch the bottom surface. Another idea is to put your twisted wire through the rolling mill to flatten it (on both sides) then sweat solder. I hope this helps.

Thanks for checking it out. Yeah, the video was meant for entertainment, not teaching. But if I can answer any questions on process, please do let me know.
My Best,
Aimee
