A person was told to watch a movie scene while having thier brain fMRI'd. When the results came back from the fMRI some maths was used to create a lot of variables. They then reconstruct what they think the brain was seeing by using about 1 000 000 youtubes, and applying a weighted version of the ones which emote similar properties. When compiled together they somewhat resemble the movie, proving that they can in fact read what a brain see's.

@AMLASH2 haha sorry guy, this isn't my field at all. I'm very interested in this of course but generally speaking I don't come across it much. I threw this up on youtube to repost on a forum to generate discussion. I read the whole paper and tried to summarise it into expansive dot points but it requires a lot of knowledge that I don't have. Needless to say though it's very impressive. My summary of what I believe they did is of course in the description. It's very cool though isn't it?
